Boston, MA – March 6, 2025 – Altaeros, a pioneer in autonomous aerostat systems, and Let’s Go Racing (LGR), a leading motorsport consultancy, are excited to announce a forward-thinking strategic partnership aimed at transforming connectivity, communication, and fan experiences across the motorsport world. Together, the two organizations will work to integrate groundbreaking technology that enhances both team operations and brand engagement, making motorsport more immersive and accessible than ever before.
Through this collaboration, Altaeros will combine its SuperTower technology with Let’s Go Racing’s expansive influence in major racing and sports series, including Formula 1, IndyCar, E1, and others. By blending Altaeros’ expertise in autonomous, lighter-than-air aerial systems with Let’s Go Racing’s deep industry experience, this partnership is designed to create solutions that redefine how teams, sponsors, and fans interact in the racing ecosystem.
Let's Go Racing and Altaeros Partner to Revolutionize the World of Sports
LGR will serve as Altaeros’ exclusive agency for commercial sports and events marketing, sponsorships, and joint ventures. The partnership will focus on enhancing connectivity at sports, concerts, and large-scale events globally, ensuring seamless mobile networks for crews and teams. Altaeros’ autonomous aerostat systems, featuring remote monitoring and control, will ensure mission continuity, no matter where in the world the race takes place.
In addition, it will unlock exciting new opportunities for brands to engage with fans through dynamic, data-driven activation experiences as well as aerial advertisements. Altaeros’ autonomous aerostats float around 1000ft in the air which will enhance advertising visibility on the ground. Each aerostat features a technology-agnostic payload bay capable of hosting a variety of technologies including increased capacity for cellular network coverage, branded Wi-Fi for attendees, and more. With the deployment of autonomous aerostat systems, the collaboration will help create a more interactive and digitally connected motorsport environment that meets the evolving demands of an increasingly flexible and tech-savvy fanbase.
“Through our partnership with Let’s Go Racing, we will empower event managers with a wide range of capabilities—from promoting sponsors’ products and broadcasting quality video coverage to enhancing communication and expanding event security,” said Jeff Lloyd-Jones, President of Altaeros. “Our proven technology thrives in the most challenging environments, and this collaboration marks a significant milestone in our journey toward innovation and growth.”
Kurt Haller, co-founder of Let’s Go Racing, added, “We're thrilled to partner with Altaeros to introduce autonomous aerostats to the world of racing and commercial sports. This collaboration is about more than just technology—it’s about revolutionizing the sport itself. By integrating drone technology, we aim to transform the viewing experience, boost connectivity at circuits, and offer brands an innovative new asset for their sponsorship portfolios. Together, we’re set to revolutionize the landscape of sports.”
As motorsport continues to evolve at a rapid pace, this partnership underscores a shared commitment to pushing the limits of what’s possible, making the sport smarter, more connected, and more engaging for all. Altaeros and Let’s Go Racing are proud to lead the way in this bold new chapter of innovation in motorsport.
